Residents are warmly invited to partake in Lura Turner Homes’ much-anticipated annual spaghetti dinner on Saturday, January 24, at Cross Roads United Methodist Church, located at 7901 N. Central Ave. This beloved event is not just an opportunity for a delicious meal but also a vital fundraiser dedicated to supporting the men and women who reside at Lura Turner Homes for Adults with Special Needs.
A Tradition of Giving Back
The spaghetti dinner has become an annual tradition, engaging the Phoenix community while raising funds to better the lives of individuals with special needs since Lura Turner Homes was established back in 1965. This year, two seating times are available: the first at 4 p.m. and the second at 6 p.m.. Advance tickets are set at $20 for adults and $10 for children under 12, making it an affordable option for family outings. Those who miss the advance booking can still join by purchasing tickets at the door for $25.
