MAC Welcomes New Leadership for a Bright Future
The Men’s Arts Council (MAC) of the Phoenix Art Museum is poised for growth as it elects a new board president and members. Sentari Minor has been re-elected as board president, bringing his extensive experience and vision for the arts back to the forefront. Minor, who also serves as the executive vice president and chief of staff at evolvedMD, is known for fostering innovation and strategic initiatives that uplift the community. His leadership has been instrumental in guiding MAC as it supports both artistic endeavors and local initiatives.
Expanding the Board with New Perspectives
Joining Minor are new board members James Arndt, Chris Natale, Heath Harris, and Zayro Jimenez, each bringing unique skills and experiences that will benefit the council. Arndt, a former principal, is focused on enhancing educational outcomes for Arizona’s ninth graders, linking education with the arts. Natale, founder of Diversified Commercial Capital, offers valuable insights from his background in commercial mortgage banking, which can aid in fundraising and sponsorship efforts.
Harris, working with The Vanguard Group, and Jimenez, a seasoned mental health therapist, round out the team with their distinct professional experiences. Their diverse expertise is expected to resonate with MAC's mission to promote the arts within the community.
Cultivating Community through Arts and Culture
Founded in 1967, MAC is committed to supporting the Phoenix Art Museum through innovative events and sponsorship, ensuring that cultural programming remains vibrant in Phoenix. This year’s new board members are expected to play a pivotal role in expanding MAC’s outreach and influence, contributing to arts and cultural vibrancy in the region. As they embark on this term, the community can look forward to both traditional and novel initiatives that highlight the intersection of arts, education, and mental health support.
Engagement through Arts Leadership
Minor and his team encourage the community to engage more deeply with the arts in Phoenix. By integrating diverse backgrounds and expertise, MAC aims to create holistic opportunities for collaboration and enrichment, fostering a greater appreciation for cultural offerings.
